I am so sorry that I have taken so long to write this entry..
I have tons of pictures and stories to share..
First, I would like to congratulate Alicia and Charlie!! and Ali and Forest!! I can' t believe I missed two weddings!!
And.... Little August Daniel Kalaba... he is SOOOOOO cute. I can't wait to meet him! (in person.. haha... cause we met via video chat!)

Here we go..
So here in an introduction... the past week has been all about parties and get togethers because my best friend in Korea left me to go home... :(
so this will be a picture story in order...

This makes me laugh... This is Ozzy and he owns our favorite bar.. this is where we have quiz night... anyway... he has EVERY album you could think of... even LITA FORD!!

this was the first time I used the "cheaters".... my friends don't let me use them. :(

At most bars you have your own container that holds all of YOUR bottle caps.. when you fill up the container, you get a free bottle.. your choice.
We had Korean Thanksgiving at my house.. (Chuseok) September 25.

this guy has no legs and he is begging for food and money.. he is hiding his face because he is ashamed. (side note: he had no idea i took his picture.)

this could be the coolest part of korea.. this is in the bathroom in the subway. you push the button when you go to the bathroom and it makes a loud flushing noise and water noise, so no one can hear you go to the bathroom... it makes me laugh.. so i push it.

Since it was her last Manhattan night... Mia made her a "special drink" and she had to do a sexy dance.. haha..
The drink was a mixture of any and every alcohol that you could think of... nasty.
she had to drink it...
After her dance she went straight to the bathroom... :) This is right before we went back into the bar...

Okay... here are pictures from my boss' son's first birthday.. this was like a wedding.. in korea, the 1st birthday party is the biggest celebration of their life.

we watched a 3 minute long movie of pictures of the baby.
They gave speeches and sang to the baby.
i mean... LOOK AT THIS!

The next day we picked up Thomie.
My boss and I headed over to the airport to pick up Thomie. We crossed this bridge.

here he is... Thomie Ventura... I started calling him Ventura... then changed it to ACE!
I took him to dinner and then to quiz night...

Nathan had a party at his house.. he just moved into a 2 bedroom apartment and he wanted to have a house warming party... he made it a theme party... here is what he said.

Because Sanbon needs more wayguks dressed in flowery shirts and spiffing bowler hats. Getting soju and makoli down them and eating soondae
so... my mission... be the best AJUMMa.

So... now on to a new day... which was YESTERDAY... my friend janel and I had an adventure. we set out to Home Plus to go shopping..
when we got there (by foot) we started shopping like crazy... getting BIG items like water, toilet paper, paper towels, wine,...
not really remembering that it's hard to get home with a bunch of stuff like that... haha... so.. good thing we had a nice taxi driver to give us a hand! :)
Then i was telling her that I wanted to get a desk for my apartment.. i have been using my laptop on my bed and it has been killing my back... so she told me to go to a used store down the street... so we headed over there after dropping off all of our Home Plus items.
When we walked into the store 1 desk really caught my eye. SOLD! it was brand new and $85... i was excited.
BUT
how was it to get it home... so i asked... and the only thing the guy asked me was "what floor do you live on?" when i said the second floor he said okay... he would deliver it to my house..but i had to help him carry it up the stairs.. haha.
it was pretty heavy... and he made me carry it in the store to see if i was strong enough... when he saw that i could carry it just fine he said, "you strong!!"
just let me say... it was heavy.
here is the desk in the back of the truck.
and guess what? free delivery!
so about 10 minutes after we got the desk inside... i told janel about a piece of furniture that i saw in the hall... it was a HUGE bookshelf type of thing... i told her that we should bring it in my apartment!! (SO WE DID) we brought it in and we never said a word.. we were very sneaky... i think someone put it out because they didn't want it but i'm not sure!
that night we walked around town and found a concert... somehow we were backstage and the next rockstar was standing next to us... don't ask me who he was, but i took a picture..
we went around and watched him on stage.. he wasn't very good.
there was a festival and i won a yo-yo... this kid battled me with our yo-yos... haha.
